Kovanen Logistics Oy is a logistics company which specialises in the distribution and terminal logistics of frozen, refrigerated and dry products. We use state-of-the-art, environmentally sound transportation vehicles. We offer our customers transportation services using dual compartment, dual temperature vehicles, which allows us to deliver frozen, refrigerated and dry food products at the same time.
Food terminals in the Helsinki region, Tampere and Turku
Licensed for both warehouse and terminal use, our modern logistics terminals are located in the Helsinki Region (Vantaa), Tampere and Turku. There are approximately 3.5 million people living in the area covered by our daily distribution operations.
Terminal and distribution services
We process products from different customers on customer-specific bases at our terminals. Customer deliveries will be collected ready for delivery according to route. Thus we ensure that our routes are efficient and that customers receive all of their products at the same time. Frozen, refrigerated, chilled and dry products will be transported as part of the same delivery. Many of our customers have discontinued their own local warehousing operations and transferred this part of their business to Kovanen Logistics. Combining deliveries enhances our efficiency and allows for flexibility in the event of variation in product volumes.
Logistics and distribution service from customer premises
Kovanen offers a comprehensive collection and sorting service also at the customer’s terminal, as well as distribution transportation. We are willing to assume responsibility for your entire distribution service or a given part of it. By transferring the responsibility for deliveries to Kovanen, customers no longer need to worry about capacity fluctuations and their costs. Kovanen arranges for just the right amount of transportation volume and personnel resources to take care of the logistics. This also gives the customer access to the services of Kovanen’s experienced professional transport coordinators and our up-to-date information and tracking system.
